This year, we asked some leaders in the company to nominate employees who had embodied our Core Values during 2020. We had so many submissions that we couldn’t fit all of them onto an email (or even multiple emails!) So we are spotlighting some of them here. They will also all be featured on Ultradent TV. If you see them, offer some congratulations!

Germany/Logistic Service
For more than 15 years, Jürgen has supported the German sales team as a crucial caretaker in the background. Thanks to his deep dental knowledge, he is never at a loss for answers. He is a mastermind in logistic challenges and never hides when extra work is needed. Jürgen represents the prototype of a typical Ultradent family member: caring for the team with incredible passion.

Sandra cares about her coworkers and she cares about Ultradent like the company is her own! She works Sunday to Sunday, she is innovative, and overcomes everything against us. She is fantastic!
A Area Production Worker
Weilan Chen was the person we depended on to already know how to operate all the machines and train those who had not operated in a while. Weilan has had great input on our schedule that has helped us be as efficient as possible with the limited resources we have in meeting our sometimes overwhelming schedule. She is quality focused and pushes herself to not leave a job unfinished.

Ivy is serious and conscientious at work. She is responsible, and always cares for the company and her colleagues.
Administrative Assistant
Chelsea always goes the extra mile to support Supply Chain along with the departments we support. She moved all supplier files into electronic format, helped organize the Supply Chain move to support the remodel of the 2nd floor, and improved the backorder and score-carding processes for Ultradent.

Royce cares for his people and is willing to do anything to ensure their success. His attendance is amazing and he leads by example.
A Area Production Worker
We would like to recognize production worker, Wanci Ma, for absolutely all she has done for our business unit in this unpredictable year. She has made herself an extremely valuable team member by being so willing to train on every line needed, making her one of our most flexible production workers. She is always volunteering to work overtime which has been crucial with our unforeseen demand increase, and she does it all with one of the best attitudes you could have. We are very lucky to have had Wanci during these difficult times.
Category Manager
Jamie has been instrumental in Ultradent’s packaging redesign efforts. This year he negotiated a warehouse with our packaging supplier so inventory can be held down the street and we can get JIT packaging deliveries daily. During the pandemic downturn he pushed inventory that was on Ultradent POs and had suppliers hold it in safety stock. This preserved cash in the business while ensuring we didn’t have packaging shortages and volumes recovered more quickly than expected.
International Regional Manager -France
Julien did a great job during the crisis maintaining a great care for our employees and bravely managing the sales difficulty and reducing all the costs in a very responsible way.
Engineering Technician
He jumps in where help is needed, whether it be on a broken machine in Manufacturing or a project that needs an extra hand. He understands operational technology and uses his knowledge to update old machines with modern technology and adds years to their productive life. He is always moving. He bounces around from area to area, helping with what needs to be done.
Opal Go Machine Operator
As a temp she learned every process and works very hard every day. She has been hired full time due to her hard work.
Formulation Tech II
When the formulation department created a new set of responsibilities to deliver bulk chemistries to manufacturing, Geminy Osorio was selected to fill this role. As with any new responsibilities, there is a learning curve and Gem has identified improvements and worked with others to fine-tune the process. This includes the refinement of the Chemical Request Powerapp, which integrates technology to monitor request progress, as well as assisting with the training program for the new responsibilities to help others transition to this role.
OLM Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic
Bob has only been with OLM for a little over a year, but he has shown the kind of hard work ethic that sets him apart. He can be counted on to keep equipment in top running shape in the OLM manufacturing dept. Bob always has his eyes open for ways to improve the efficiency, usability, and serviceability of the equipment in manufacturing.

She deals with everyone honestly and has the courage to speak up if she feels that something is not correct. She is also accountable if something is incorrect.

Van is willing to tackle any challenge that is thrown her way. If it’s something she’s never done before… doesn’t matter, Van will dig in, learn, and complete the job with an outcome better than you ever imagined. She is fun, hardworking, and caring. UPI is better because of Van!

Jared’s thoughtful, pragmatic, and disciplined approach to problem solving leads to consistent, high-quality, detail-oriented results within development projects and system improvement initiatives. In his daily work, Jared embodies all of our core values; for the reasons expressed here, he deserves a special call out for representing Quality.

Yeli is a true example of Hard Work. She is always willing to help others, willing to switch her shift to accommodate demand, willing to come early, and give her best each and every day.

In the 10 years of her Ultradent career, Jessica has grown to be an invaluable member of the NE Europe team. She is always going the extra mile and is reliable in her mostly very complex projects like the European catalog, but she is also ambitious and quality driven, constantly looking for the best solutions and new, creative ideas. With her long Ultradent experience, Jessica is an important mentor for the marketing team, passionately supporting and sharing knowledge whenever needed.
Special Events Coordinator
Audrey is an extraordinary example of hard work and care during an extraordinary year. Audrey has taken on more duties, she has stepped up with a passion to help, and has excelled at those tasks. She jumped to serve with great care, helping those employees who have contracted COVID and those who need to be quarantined. During a difficult time, she is a listening ear for those who have experienced the worst of what this pandemic brings. Her service to our employees has been truly extraordinary and she has gone beyond her ordinary duties. Her determination to succeed has made us all want to follow her example.

Dr. James Wright has shown care in our Concern Specialist arena. He has taken this job to heart and has been able to put himself in the shoes of the concerned clinician, and with his knowledge of our products helps to educate and facilitate solutions.

Rajesh has a great positive ‘can-do’ attitude that lifts any team or project he’s a part of. His attention to detail and past systems experience has played a key role in the success of the MES Phase I project. Rajesh has had to navigate a lot of complexity and was key in delivering a quality, and continuously improving, MES application.
R and D Chemical Innovation Manager
Robert is impressive because of his ability to challenge things without dismissing the other side completely—he uses logic over emotion in the end and he isn’t afraid to stand up for what he thinks is right. As he leads his team to develop new innovative chemistries he questions how they fit the vision of improving oral health and if it is the best product for the patient.
