Thermo Clone™ VPS Clear Bite Registration provides direct visibility of the correct bite for accurate occlusion registrations. It’s a more flexible formula which seats and removes easily—ideal for fast, accurate temporaries.
Clear product: It makes it easier to confirm that the impression is correctly seated over the correct tooth. Also, light-cure composite material can cure through the clear bite registration. This is ideal for an esthetically appealing temporary crown in the anterior.
It’s fast. A Thermal-Accelerated Set means a fast, accurate set—more than traditional VPS materials.
It’s comfortable. Unlike cold alginate, the clear bite material is gentler on a broken tooth with exposed dentin.
It’s reusable. If the patient breaks a temporary crown, a doctor can quickly make a new one with little upset to a busy schedule in the office.
It’s flexible. Fit it around moderate undercuts and remove easily. A stiff bite registration material will not do this as well.
It’s easy to seat. You can express it directly over the tooth without a tray (or you may use a clear tray to help guide it into place).
You don’t need to use a lot. Just a tooth on either side is enough to have a stable and accurate impression of the tooth/teeth you’re working on.
Increased accuracy. The temporary crowns look much more like finished crowns. Happy patients no longer must endure a poor fitting or oddly shaped temporary for weeks while waiting on the finished crown.
